aftercare

Proper aftercare is essential to ensure your tattoo heals correctly and maintains its quality over time.

day 1
keep the cover on

You will leave the studio with your tattoo covered using a puppy pad. Keep this on until the following morning.

DAY 2 - morning
First wash

Before removing the pad, wet it thoroughly in the shower to make removal easier. Gently wash with cool to lukewarm water and neutral soap. Pat dry with paper towel - not a regular towel. Cover again with a clean puppy pad for another 24 hours.

DAY 3
Repeat the process

Wash the tattoo, dry it with paper towel, and cover it for a third and final time with a puppy pad.

Day 4 - onwards
Start moisturizing

No more puppy pad. Wash twice daily - morning and night - with cool water and neutral soap. After drying, wait ~30 minutes, then apply a very small amount. The tattoo should not feel greasy.
Recommended: Eucerin Aquaphor

ongoing
Continue until fully healed

Continue this routine for approximately 10 to 14 days, depending on how your tattoo heals.

note alert
No cream - keep it dry

Do not apply any cream or ointment during the first 3–4 days. The tattoo must remain clean and dry during this initial healing phase. No moisturizer yet - this is critical for proper healing.
